Premsela: event design and media relation for Dutch Design in Milan

Design, communicate an event for press and influencers to express a national context and priority

pr/undercover invented Freedesigndom (2007) and Showpieces (2008): a system below the line to push Dutch Design at Milano Design week: a paper and web guide to travel throughout Dutch Design in the Fair and at Fuorisalone - a guide, a talk with influencial testimonials, a press and pr campaign lasting two years - and a gathering event by picking up the best locations on the agency roster.

The talk, central part of FreeDesigndom event - set at Galleria Giò Marconi starring Joep Van Lieshout, Pieke Bergmans and Li Edelkoort chaired by Marcus Fairs - has been attended by more of 100 International journalists invited by pr/undercover, who covered the event and the Dutch Design with over than 120 articles.

After April 18/23 2007, FreeDesigndom is still an open country: pr/undercover organized meetings, relation, interviews or research on the role of Premsela, on its country system, on Dutch design a/o designers until Salone 2008 when pr/undercover designed and produced SHOWPIECES - a talk, a paper and web guide and the same relational design - fully devoted to limited edition design and its stars at Spazio Romeo Gigli: Ineke Hans, Jurgen Bey and Gareth Williams chaired by Tracy Metz.
